AI-Assisted Content Development Disclosure
The Platforms are operated by MyoMed Prep LLC, a Montana limited liability company, whose mailing address is 1827 11th Ave, Unit #2170, Helena, Montana 59601, United States. Full company details are at the foot of this page.
1. Purpose
This disclosure explains how MyoMed Prep LLC (“MyoMed Prep,” “we,” “our”) uses artificial intelligence (“AI”) tools in its content development process and the human oversight safeguards that govern all published content. This disclosure applies to content published across our exam preparation platforms: MyoMed-NexGen (Nursing), RadMatrix (Radiology Technology and Imaging Interpretation), Rescue (EMS), and Foundations (Pre-Requisite Sciences and Mathematics).
2. Role of AI in Content Development
We use proprietary AI tools, developed by our internal team, to assist licensed clinicians and subject-matter experts in developing and maintaining exam preparation materials. AI assists at defined stages of our content development pipeline. It does not operate independently, and its outputs are subject to human clinical review at every stage.
2.1 Drafting. AI generates initial drafts of practice questions, answer explanations, and supporting content based on approved clinical sources and current exam blueprints. These drafts serve as starting points for human clinical review, not as finished content.
2.2 Citation Verification. AI cross-references every clinical claim against approved primary sources, including peer-reviewed publications, current FDA labeling, and recognized clinical practice guidelines. Any item that lacks a verified primary citation from an approved source is automatically blocked from advancing in the content pipeline.
2.3 Exam Blueprint Alignment. AI maps each item to the applicable certification exam blueprint (such as NCLEX, ARRT, or NREMT specifications) to verify topic coverage and alignment with current testing standards.
2.4 Safety Screening. AI screens content for clinical safety concerns, including unverified medication dosages, paraphrased FDA boxed warnings, and references to unapproved or unverified sources. Items that fail safety screening are removed from the pipeline and cannot proceed without human intervention by a qualified reviewer.
2.5 Guideline Monitoring. AI monitors published updates from recognized clinical and regulatory authorities, including the American Heart Association (AHA), National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN), American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). When a guideline or standard changes, all affected content is automatically held for human review and re-verification before it may remain in or return to the active question bank.
Not all content is developed with AI assistance. Some content is created, edited, and reviewed entirely by human clinical team members using non-AI editorial tools. Regardless of how content originates, every item is subject to the same human review and approval process described in Section 3.
3. Human Oversight and Final Approval
AI is never the final authority on any clinical content published by MyoMed Prep. Every item must satisfy the following human oversight requirements before it may be published to any student-facing platform.
3.1 Clinical Editorial Review. Our Clinical Editorial Team, composed of licensed clinicians and qualified subject-matter experts appointed to defined board roles, independently reviews all content. Items are triaged by clinical risk tier (ranging from highest-risk clinical safety items to lower-risk formatting and structure items) and reviewed at a level of scrutiny appropriate to that tier.
3.2 Safety Holds. Any authorized reviewer may place a safety hold on any item at any time, for any reason. A held item is immediately removed from the publication pipeline and may not be released until the concern is resolved through qualified human review.
3.3 Final Clinical Approval. A designated clinical administrator must grant explicit approval before any item is released to the live question bank. No content is published to students without this human approval, regardless of the item’s AI-generated scores, status indicators, or position in the pipeline. Automated status indicators generated during the AI review process (such as pipeline readiness scores) reflect processing milestones only; they are not quality certifications and do not substitute for human approval.
3.4 Post-Publication Monitoring. Published content is audited on an ongoing basis against current clinical standards, regulatory updates, exam blueprint revisions, and user feedback. Items flagged during audit are returned to the review pipeline and held until re-approved by a qualified human reviewer.
4. Quality Standards
All published content must satisfy the following minimum standards, whether or not AI was involved in its development:
- Every clinical claim must be supported by a verified citation to an approved primary source.
- All medication dosages, contraindications, and safety information must be independently verified against current FDA labeling or an equivalent authoritative reference.
- All items must align with the current version of the applicable certification exam blueprint.
- No item may reference or incorporate material from any source that has not been reviewed and approved for use by the Clinical Editorial Team.
- All content must conform to current clinical care standards and applicable regulatory requirements.
5. What AI Does Not Do
5.1 AI does not make publication decisions. Only authorized human clinical reviewers may approve content for release to students. AI may propose, flag, and recommend; it may not approve or publish.
5.2 AI does not replace clinical judgment. All AI-generated or AI-assisted content is subject to independent human clinical review and approval before publication. AI outputs are treated as drafts, not conclusions.
5.3 AI does not access student data. Our content development AI tools do not access, process, or store student accounts, student progress data, academic records, or any patient health information.
5.4 AI does not operate autonomously. AI-generated recommendations, proposed edits, and flagged concerns are presented to human reviewers for decision. No change to published content is applied without explicit human authorization.
6. Data Processing
AI processing within our content development pipeline may involve third-party AI service providers operating under contractual data processing obligations. These providers process content development data only. They do not receive, access, or store student information, user account data, or personal health information. For more information about how we handle user data, please refer to our Privacy Policy at myomedprep.org.
7. Continuous Improvement
We regularly evaluate and update our AI tools, clinical review processes, and quality standards to reflect advances in clinical knowledge, changes to exam specifications, and evolving regulatory requirements. Updates may include refining AI safety screening rules, expanding guideline source monitoring, incorporating Clinical Editorial Team feedback, and adjusting risk-tier classifications. Material changes to the role AI plays in content development will be reflected in an updated version of this disclosure.
8. Disclaimer
